This is red hots all the way down for me. Some younger ryes that have this characteristic are too sweet and sharp, but this has a nice underlying earthiness below the sweetness. I don't think I'd buy it, but glad I tried it.

@dubz480 yeah, I always thought 6 for rye, 8-10 for bourbon. But Canadian climate pushes that up. I’ve only had a 2-3 Canadians; their Northern Harvest rye and Crown Royal Cornerstone were excellent. Not sure the ages for those
@PBMichiganWolverine the crazy thing is for a Rye 6 yrs old tends to be the sweet spot... for American Ryes at least. Maybe the climate in Canada lends to youthful taste on this offering.
I thought their selling point on this one was that the bottle shape is changed to make it easier to pour. Unique and tasty...no. Honest...okay I’ll give them that
