I find this scotch really good, I would recomand it to anyone. Although it is an young scotch (10 YO) it doesn't feel like that. It is well matured in both American and European oak casks. Its phenol level is 35 ppm, perfectly balanced.
- The color is light gold
- On the nose you can recognize the pleasant smoke alongside some oak notes
- On the palate there is a strong aroma of peat, dried fruits, walnuts and some black pepper notes
- The finish is subtle, reminds of the oak casks in which it was maturated
After tasting this, I am curious about the other line of whisky from Tobermory, maybe I'll follow up with Tobermory 12. I am sure it would be as interesting as this one.
