Vibrant bronze in color.
Aromatic perfume/cologne overwhelms on first nosing. Further nosings reveal corn, light wood-spice and butterscotch.
Mouthfeel is soft and thick with moderate spice and a relatively long, even burn.
Relatively complex flavor profile. Nothing really takes over, but it’s all there...wood, spice, butterscotch, citrus oil.
All in all, this a solid bourbon. Not worth overpaying at $100+, but a great find at retail.
Score - 3.95.
