Like all NEW YORK distiller bourbons I have tried so far, it lacks depth and in my opinion, is very young tasting and way over priced. There is a strong alcohol smell initially on the nose which masks all other smells. It taste like watered down corn syrup. Long burn. Limited flavor profile. May be better after aged a few more years

I'm not a competitor. I've recently tossed all my New York bourbons. They all seems under aged and don't resemble Kentucky bourbons at all (and I'm not from Kentucky). I just tasted it again tonight. Very unpleasant flavor. A lot of these craft distillers are going to fail if they don't age their products long enough and make a quality product that is worth the price they are asking.
Wow! I can't disagree more. Makes me not sure we're talking about the same stuff or that the above review is from competitor. I had a sampling of this and five other small distiller bourbons and whiskeys at a bar restaurant in Ellenberg, NY. This was by far the smoothest tasting with no "cough syrup" flavor whatsoever. One sip and I was blown away. Lots of complicated tones and left the most pleasant after taste. it won a gold medal in 2012 and is sold out most places i'm looking to purchase it! Must taste good to some folks!
