They source their bourbon or did initially. A batch I tasted last year seemed very different than a recent bottle which was corn flavor and under aged. If they are now distilling their own, they should stop because it's not a good product. If they are still a non-distiller bottler they are sourcing immature product. Either way it's over priced and tastes too young.

Very unappealing bourbon. They should just call it Texas whiskey because it doesn't taste like bourbon. A fancy name won't fix it. Just not a fan of these "bourbons" coming out of Texas. Very corn flavored and under aged.

If you took bourbon and soaked bacon, old leather shoes and what's left over from a smoked cigar in it you get this. I wouldn't call this bourbon by what most would expect from a bourbon. Heavy on corn. Seems like it wasn't ages long enough yet its overpowered by these flavor which aren't balanced out. Also think it's way overpriced. I have a large bourbon party every year and no one will drink this stuff.

Like all NEW YORK distiller bourbons I have tried so far, it lacks depth and in my opinion, is very young tasting and way over priced. There is a strong alcohol smell initially on the nose which masks all other smells. It taste like watered down corn syrup. Long burn. Limited flavor profile. May be better after aged a few more years

Tried this recently on a trip to Brooklyn. This doesn't even taste like bourbon. Has a weak corn syrup taste that is unpleasant. Seems like it needs to age another five years.

Being a bourbon drinker and not much of a scotch drinker, the Macallan 12 is a good fit for us. A scotch with a hint of that bourbon flavor in my opinion. Smooth. Not too spicey, not too peaty

Probably one of my favorite. The New York water from that mine definitely does something special. This is a sourced bourbon and is brought down to proof with water from the Widow Jane mine. They are starting to distill their own bourbon but it is very young and doesn't taste anything like what they have sourced. I think it's overpriced for a bourbon they don't even distill themselves in my opinion. But it does scoop the tongue with flavor.

I agree with the comment that it's a good value but would benefit from higher proof. I got this bottle and Elijah Craig 12 to try. Unimpressed with both. Just found it to be somewhat hot and ehhhhh flavor. Nothing interesting. Many more interesting choices out there. May be good as a mixer but doesn't do it for me as my nighttime sipper
