The nose: salty beach air, orange juice, overly ripe pear, smokey The pallete: floral honey, pipe tobacco, salt water The finish: long, heavy, very salty, and just enough peat. Overall this is one of my favorite drams. It's definitely not for the beginner. Talisker is very balanced. The sweet fruits, saltiness, and smoke compliment each other.
