I love Japanese whiskey but have trouble getting above a 4 with this. I wish it had more body and complexity. N: light, sweet, nutty P: nutty and viscous, Sherry immediately presents itself unlike nose, rich fruity notes as it sits on tongue, almost has a bitter quality to it F: Dry wine finish, the Sherry has definitely taken over. If you like a side of grain whiskey with your Sherry you'll love this. NOT the other way around. That's why I gave this a lower score. Needs balance.
