dark dark herbal green. anise and mint and sweetness on the nose. anise dominates on the palate, with mint and herbs and alcohol heat. coating oily mouthfeel. afertaste is long, sweet fading to dry, and then mint and stinging nettles leave a tingling sensation on lips and tongue. big big flavors. like all the St Georges products, this is quality, well made and inventive. may not work in some lighter cocktails, but this is my favorite absinthe. More monkey cowbell!
