St. George Absinthe Verte
Absinthe
St. George Spirits // California, USA
St. George Absinthe Verte is distilled in California at St. George Spirits using a brandy base along with grand wormwood, fennel, and star anise.
Post-distillation, herbs are macerated to achieve the verte or green color including mint, tarragon, opal basil, lemon balm, hyssop, and stinging nettles. However, the color in the bottle will have a "feuille morte" or dead leaf color due to the chlorophyll in the botanicals breaking down. Bottled at 60% ABV.
