Eyes: very dark (think Pikesville rye kind of dark)
Nose: straight away you get molasses, vanilla, cinnamon and dry red wine( not like a musk on a finished bourbon but more like a glass of really dry red wine)
Palate: starts off super sweet and keeps going. Milk chocolate, root beer, and ends with a strong brown sugar that lingers on the lips.
Finish: it ends sweet and dry. The dryness is most likely a byproduct of the second heavily charred barrel the whiskey is finished in.
Mouth feel: thin but thats to be expected from a 93 proof
Overall: very good pour. You will love it if you are a fan of the sweeter bourbon
