Second taste edit: the nose is floral and fruity. The palate has a sharp fermented red fruit character. It’s nice, and the finish is long, but I prefer the oak and barley character of the Double Cask, which I’m having side by side.
Very enjoyable. In the same league as Balvenie 12. Good classic scotch with good fruit sweetness and rounded edges.
