This spirit has grown on me over time. At first I considered the 96 rating laughable but the second third fourth and ... tastings caused me to conclude this is a very good bourbon. Not a 96 but a solid low 90’s. I paired it with a Montecristo No. 4 Cuban cigar tonight; a nice one two punch. The bourbon has a light pleasant nose of sweet fruitiness and vanilla oak. The taste is similar with a saltiness and lovely spice on the finish. The finish is moderately long and delightful. I plan for this offering to be a staple in my cabinet from now on.
