My second attempt at a bargain scotch, and the tale rings true — cheap scotch tastes pretty average. Hints of butter and lots of alcohol on the nose. On the tongue, an average whiskey more than scotch as there are no hints of peat. I wouldn’t buy it again, but at least it’s sippable.
