On the nose it's typical glenfiddich but totally different because of the smoke.
There's fruits like pear and apples, there's sugar cane and the smoke, which presents for me as something between a bbq an a burning tire (sounds bad but it isn't, i find it really interesting). There is also something like a biscuit in here but i can't put my finger on it.
On the palate there's honey and heathery peat which does taste different from the islay peat, more floral almost. The biscuit from the nose is now a chocolate chip cookie.
The finish is fairly long but mostly honey and doesn't really change.
