Teeling Single Grain Whiskey
Single Grain — Ireland
Reviewed January 24, 2020 (edited February 14, 2020)Nice very tasty whisky pretty "cheap" for what it delivers. It is light and grainy but it is still nice and sweet, there are definatly corn vibes, some wood spice notes like bay leaf. Very nice whisky highly recommend!45.0 EUR per Bottle -
Smokehead Islay Single Malt
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed November 17, 2019 (edited February 14, 2022)Does what it intends very smoky and ashy. Lacks in complexity, but if you like just smoke it scratches that itch. When you add water it turns more ashy. Overall nice whisky.3.99 EUR per Pour -
On the nose there is a fire in a fir forrest with some seaweed and meat baking over the fire really intriguing and very inviting to take a sip. And then, wow! The first sip of this is just screaming laphroaig, so much so that you need to take another sip. There is this very heavy medicinal note (classic laphroaig) that is almost overpowering the peat, then comes some smoked meat wrapped in seaweed. So complex that every sip there is something new to explore. The finish is long with a lot of seaweed and some sherry sweetness. I got this bottle for 60 euro, and it's one of the best whisky's i've had so i'm very happy with my purchase.59.0 EUR per Bottle
