Sweet nose, nice and lightly sweet taste- somewhere between Glenmoragie Nector Dor and Macallan 12. The finish is incredibly smooth with a light peaty smokiness. Very surprisingly smooth... I think I like this almost as much as the Lagavulin 16. If Macallan 12 and Lagavulin 16 had a baby, it would be this.
