The nose starts smokey but is immediately followed by a fruity sweetness, along with vanilla, caramel, straw and brine all wonderfully intermingling. It is gently on the palate but rich, filling the mouth with a fantastic peatiness and following it with brine and salted caramel, oak, straw and a bit of pepper. The finish is medium long with a lingering peatiness while salted caramel, brine, ripe fruit and oak all nicely fade.
