Call me crazy, but I love scotch and just can't get into macallan. The texture is perfect - very smooth with a hint of spice, which makes it great for newbies and non-scotchophiles. But, let's be honest - it's bland! I don't want to work so hard to get flavor out of my scotch. Would go for highland park 12 or talisker 10 for a superior scotch at this price.
