Purchased as a replacement for Amer Picon/Amer Boudreau.
Lovely dark color.
Nose: Cooked oranges. Acetone
Palate: SUGAR. Candied orange. Pretty one note. Oily/thick. Want more bitterness. Some salt in there.
Finish. Short. Sweet. Finally a bit of bitter orange. Some spice as I continue to sip.
It is a nice mild amaro that is both heavy on citrus and sweet. Glad for the proof. I will probably buy this again and it will make for good cocktail use, but I remember Jamie Boudreau's recipe being superior to this.
