Best scotch in the world..changed my view in the world of whisky..its a real scotch..true islay..you either love it or hate it..this whisky is so different..love the big peat smoke and vanilla from the straight American oak bourbon cask used..white oak works wonders compared to the European oak cask..heavy peat, very smokey, iodine, salt, brine, dirt, mineral, ocean water, seaweed, char, malt, oak, floral, heather, hazelnut, ash, sweet, pepper, ginger, mint, tea, raisin, prune, herbs, veggy, liquorice, lemon, orange, grapefruit, pineapple, pear, apple, plum, berry, apricot, melon, spice, cinnamon, oils, tobacco, tar, vanilla, caramel, toffee, honey, cream, molasses, chocolate and butter..complex..rough in taste but smooth in texture..long finish..not for beginners..you got to have taste to be able to taste what this whisky has to offer..
