Had to let this one rest a bit. After about fifteen minutes I get apples, pears, and springtime on the nose. Taste is simple but certainly not unpleasant. Malt, more apples, honey, and a bit of that wax that everyone talks about with this malt. Finish is short and pleasant. I can see why this one is favoured in blends.

@dubz480 thanks! That’s how I was too. I may have never gotten to it if it weren’t in the tasting kit the wife bought me!
I’d say you nailed it. It’s enjoyable, but nothing special to me.
Nice review as always! I always want to try this but always seem to find something else to try! one of these days I'll get around to it!
