Your dictionary definition of Bourbon.
Nose:
Powdered sugar and maple syrup.
Alcohol kick, softens into over cooked caramel or burning sugar.
That early mix of butter, sugar and brown sugar when making cookies.
Baking spice, eucalyptus and a crack of pepper.
Palate:
Rye really shines through, leaving the sweetness behind.
Spice, eucalyptus, cinnamon, creamed corn
Vanilla, toffee and coffee cake.
Dried out oak
Drinks warm, should be next to a fire.
Finish:
Dry...but that vanilla sweetness comes in.
There’s an oak driven Cab Sauv richness lingering long after, almost stays in the chest.
