some days I don't love blanton's. I know it's my taste changing more than the whiskey. Today, I think it's unique and lovely. The cherry really comes through in this bourbon. My bottle is getting low and I want to appreciate it before it can take a turn into acetone. As my first blanton's, it was an up and down relationship because I wanted to play the field of rye, cask strength, and nutty goodness. As I say goodbye to this bottle, I look forward to the uncertainty of the next bottle and the oaky, cherry, complexity it will bring
