Compared with 2020 limited release and 2016 200th 8YO. THe nosing is very mild in comparison, which is surprising cause I recalled it having very distinct earth notes. More mineral, cherry dark fruits, mid pep, smooth camp fire, 2.5
Compared to 8YO this has a lot more depth and complexity, one-sided dimension though towards smoke, gentle drink with a nice meaty apple smoke and peat that is not overwhelming, sweetness, oaky 2.75
Oaky and woody, smooth light campfire Low to mid sustain 2.5
Undil
Nose - fierce burn
Flavour - tinge of heat on the front, light oil and saltiness, thick and rich - easy to drink
Finish - peatiness is smooth and balance, not overly powerful but sufficiently present for all Smokey lovers.
