Maple syrup on the nose, with the same initial hit on the tongue. Transitions to an oak and leather middle before a spicy finish that lingers. Great on ice. When served with a large whiskey ice cube, the middle opens up to a smoky and sugary middle prior to the oak and spice. Very sippable without losing flavor on the rocks.
