NOSE: Quite unrefined for 15 years, doesn’t hold up against the 18 at all. PALATE: Friendly vanilla and sugar, some spice from the oak casks. OVERALL: You get the sense the barrels aren’t top shelf stuff. It’s just a little harsh overall for 15 years.
