This is the epitome of a daily drinker for the price point and complexity. I can honestly see why buffalo trace products in general are getting harder and harder to find. It's because they produce dam good bourbon. This being one of their entry level offering (aside from benchmark and old charter) is my go to daily sipper. It has a soft floral and sweet nose. The taste is not your average bourbon flavors (while present) with fruit sweetness and a slight orange peel that lead to a rush of big red chewing gum between the sweetness and cinnamon flavors. Finish is quick to medium with barrel spice and more cinnamon and an added touch of corn sweetness (first time I picked up the flavor in bourbon). Solid entry bourbon and hell, better than a lot of higher priced ones as well. This bourbon was enjoyed neat as all bourbon should.

@BeppeCovfefe I couldn't agree more. While benchmark and old charter are technically their more entry level, I've never heard of anyone having a bottle of either or see them in the wild down here in Florida so buffalo trace is the starter offering we can get a hold of at the moment. I do fancy me some eagle rare!!
actually Benchmark and Old Charter are probably more like the "entry level" product. I suspect part of the reason for the drying up of standard BT is the need to produce more Eagle Rare. Cheers!
