It was a pretty light whisky, fudge and toffee with some fruity notes, it is finished in French limousin oak casks. It was like a typical Speyside, the more you drinking it, the more enjoyable it gets well into the night. Glad to have had it, I am not one to bash a good whisky, but for a similar price point I would prefer an Aberlour or something that is a little fuller.
