Tasted in a Glencairn. Pours dark and rich and shows oily legs on the glass. The nose is honey, dark fruit and just a hint of alcohol. The taste is predominantly honey, a hint of raisin and pleasant alcohol warmth. This is an excellent sipping rum, but not quite as good as Appleton Estate Rare Blend...which is less sweet, more complex and less expensive.
