Very basic. Reminds me of an Irish. Smells young. You can taste a bit more of the spice due to its proof but it’s harsh due to its age. Sweet fruit and vanilla. Bit of complexity but the bite overwhelms the flavor. Adding water brings out the vanilla and cuts the bite after the first sip. Butterscotch and peach cobbler with carmalized sugars. Overall...pretty underwhelming. The ABV is much appreciated, but could do better with longer in the barrel.
