Very friendly, fruity, and vanilla in the nose. Slight briney, almost makes me think of an unmalted barley quality but it’s MUCH more rounded and not as “funky”. Taste is salty and Smokey but only slightly. Caramel and light fruit notes on the palette. Finish is a bit oily and lingers a bit turning back into that malty note.

Navazos-Palazzi "Bota Punta" Spanish Malt Whisky
Single Malt — Spain
Reviewed December 19, 2019 (edited April 21, 2021)Wow...butter butter butter. Nutty and bits of dried fruit. Very friendly, bit of spice on the back end but love it. It’s like you mixed a higher proof bourbon and a spry side. Color, spice and oakyness from the bourbon, fruity, and buttery from the sort side. -
Love the Smokey sweet aroma. Smells like someone is making cupcakes in the kitchen while your tending to the grill. Nice amount of oak and barrel spice. Pretty impressed by the sweetness. Not too over bearing and the bold notes really compliment it. Nose is sort of...dusty leather, but a vase with a flower is nearby. Love this bourbon. Very nice presentation at 45%
