Picked this up based on a review, I was looking for a decent mixer bourbon that wasn't Jim Beam. Of course once opening I had to taste, neat of course. I was really surprised, for $10 this was not bad! Mind you, it's nothing to write home about but if your hosting and making bourbon mixers a solid choice.....will even pass muster if someone wants a neat or splash drink. Taste is on the sweet side, slight vanilla, dash pepper...nothing really defined but nothing really off, nice balance. Good bourbon to have on hand, like ove review I read, hits way above it weight class....or price in this case.
