Nose - oh it's a dank warehouse, dark fruits...over ripe. This is old and yet the sherry dominates this, there's none of that oak bitterness coming through. Rich and fruity.
Taste - rich, chocolate, butter, sherry, spicy oak. The finish is long, lingering, rich, complex.
It isn't the most nuanced and detailed whisky to discuss. It's a sherry bomb and you can really tell this is using those european oak casks which gives it all kinds of spice flavors.

@worldwhiskies95 That's an awesome price. I have seen it for 325 but before shipping. this however did give me rewards points for bourbon so that helps with slightly over paying.
@Akomoto more than a 4.0 is pretty rare. I suppose European oak spice was not exactly what perfect.
Dhsilv2, I've really enjoyed reading your reviews. I was considering getting this bottle for a special occasion. What held it back from a higher score?
Amazing stuff. Was able to secure this bottle at $315 including shipping
