Nose: honey, mint and rye.
Taste: extremely light mouthfeel. Light on the tongue with some honey and mint with almost a light lemon freshness. You can taste the higher rye.
Finish: falls off fast and easy but crisp. Ends a little sweet and minty.
I like it okay, but I like bourbons that punch you in the mouth more. Pretty disappointing.
Old fashioned: 2.5/5. The flavors don’t make a great old fashioned. The bitters seem to deaden out the bourbon.
