Nose: Similar to WT 101 with vanilla and corn, but with a new element from the mesquite Taste: Starts dry, oak and root flavor (think root beer). Balanced with some charcoal (mesquite coming through?). Slightly sweet with light burn. Finish: Slick and smoother than 101 without the signature burn, but with a smokier finish Old Fashioned: Less punch than a 101 old fashioned due to the lower proof and older age, but the mesquite adds a new element. I'd like to try this with cherry rather than citrus.

Christmas gift 2021. Batch 24. Awesome bottle design. Nose: typical high rye. Floral, grass and grain dominate Taste: corn and cane (like frosted flakes) and a little bit of black pepper heat at the back end Finish: a light, smooth finish. Finishes like an 80 proof although it's a 92. You get some interesting aftertaste of mint, cherry and sugar Old fashioned:
