This is from my NH days..........We have a yeti sighting!! Found this finally in my area along with Antique 107! Wheated bourbon from my favorite distillery Buffalo Trace......at last. Poured neat, thin but sticky legs with decent color. Nose is nice....very nice, soft sweet bubblegum, slightly floral with some baking spice and fresh bread dough. Silky mouthfeel brings palate of melted gummy sugar, vanilla frosting, honey, more dough and spice with some light oak and char for balance. Sweet smooth bliss!! Finish is oaky but not bitter with cinnamon, vanilla and spice that lingers. If you like your bourbon on the sweet side this will make you very happy.....85/100

yes saw the 1.75 for 34.99 at specs tonight
@PBMichiganWolverine come to Texas, for around $35 you can get the 1.75L bottle
And that price is stunning. Here in NYC/NJ area, about $100
Nice review :-). I don't usually like wheated bourbon but the Weller 12 year I did. Very well done. Great score as well as whilst I liked the 12 i wouldn't pay the stupid pricing these days.
Nice review. I'm not a big wheated fan, but the 107 Antique is the exception. Up until the OHLCB raised the price to $50 it would fly off the shelves as fast as it came in. Now I can almost always find it but I'm not quite willing to put up $50 for it. I'll have to give the SR a shot one of these days.
Thanks WH...........yeah i wouldnt pay jacked up prices for this stuff
Nope got this in NH along with the Antique 107 ....both single barrel editions right before I moved to Texas
@Ctrexman Great review! It's a real shame prices have skyrocketed for this one
Nice review! Although I'm assuming that it was not obtained in NH, even if it was from your NH days... I've never seen Weller in the NHLS.
