Barrel 4-581, bottled 5-28-14. Amazing nose with peanut brittle, charred oak, vanilla, orange peel, musty corn and a hint of cherry. The palate can't deliver on the promise of the nose, There's some orange, cherry, a little vanilla and a tart note, the medium finish is a little peppery. Empty glass smells awesome. If the palate and finish matched the nose this would be a 5 star whiskey.
