Nose: sticky caramel, vanilla, fruit, and hay. Pretty light aroma
Mouth: Nutty, dark sugar, spice, nuttiness, and a very light touch of smokiness. Not complex but it is tasty.
Finish: medium to light finish. Roasted bread with a touch of caramel and ends with a light spice.
One of my first whiskeys and still one of my favorites. Admittedly not complex but it’s a easy drink and as long as the price stays at an appropriate level I will keep one on the shelf.
