Absolutely horrid. Like a mouthful of good and plenty. If this seems like a good tequila, you have more tasting to do.

@Tucsonjj Everywhere? Spend some time on the tequila subreddit and you will see the light. You will see a crop of people who won’t use descriptors like smooth, which means nothing. You will see a crop of people who visit the distilleries and know production in and out. People get angry when someone REALLY doesn’t like what they do. But this tequila tastes fake. It’s made with additives and possibly a diffuser, although we don’t know that for sure. Fortaleza Still Strength, Siete Leguas, G4, Pasote, Tapatio, Fuenteseca Cosecha 2013, Siembra Valles, etc. and all light years better than a sweetened tequila. I get that people love a sweet taste, but a great tequila made the right way this is not. Ive tried hundreds of tequilas and Mezcals, and its all about the journey. I once thought Clase Azul Repo was pretty good. Now I can’t gag it down. You want something mind-blowing? I suggest La Venenosa Sierra del Tigre de Jalisco Raicilla. Smells like blue cheese and every taste is complex and amazing.
Absurd review... Clase Azul is highly rated everywhere... a superb Plata... only a novice would rate it one star...
