Nose: Rich nose with notes of orange. Strong vanilla with fig and raisins coming through. Palate: Full flavour with nice influence from bourbon and sherry casks. Smooth. Vanilla and some bitter walnuts noted with a honey graham cracker undertone. Also some spicy tannins appearing and evolving into a nice tingle on the palate. Very rich. Finish: Nice long malty finish with sherry tingle on sides of the tongue. Raisins and cereal notes lingering. Delicious! One of my favourite go-to whiskys!
