This one surprised me. Cinnamon and sweetness on the nose compared to other ryes. Has bourbon qualities. Definitely red fruits in the palate and a good baking spice taste. Not much pepper which can be a note I’m not found of in rye. Finish is pretty long and drying. Overall a very solid dram. This is one I may always keep stocked at the home bar. Well done
