Nose: Orchard fruits including apples and peaches. Some pineapple buried in there as well. Also some maple, vanilla, and toffee notes. Palate: Very smooth and full-flavoured with vanilla and hints of pear and orange. There are some raisin notes as well. Very rich. The sherry cask enters the equation with some delicious spiciness, tannins, and tingling on the sides of the tongue. Finish : Moderate to long, with the sherry casks continuing to come through. Overall, very delicious and a great whisky to have on the shelf!
