Sweetness of sultanas and canned pineapple. Vanilla. Wet wood notes. Spicy. Black pepper. Some smoke. Creamy. Some sulphury notes also, but not unpleasant. Dark chocolate candied orange peel. Oak barrel aged grappa. Some caramel on the finish. Not smooth but really interesting. So many layers of flavors and somehow easier to identify than in some other malts. Complex and characterful.
