My first wheated bourbon. Not bad overall.
On the nose I get honey, apples, some citrus and maybe some cherry. It’s, also, more floral than I was expecting.
I admit, I like the nose more than the taste. On taste, I get some vanilla and honey and a little bit of apple. I was surprised by the spice on the tongue. It’s spicy throughout and finishes with some wood and char. The finish isn’t very long. Maybe a bit thin.
Overall, I enjoyed this. It’s an easy sipper, but I would not pay more than MSRP. I heard of some stores selling this for $30+ and that’s too much. I got lucky and found this for $20.

@DrewZombieZ I found it at my local Spec’s. It’s a chain liquor store in Texas, and every once in a while they’ll have some Weller’s SR at retail price.
where'd you find it for this price?
