I was finally able to try this wonderful bourbon this weekend and all of the great things said about this hidden gem is true. It is a full-flavored bourbon and for about $15 for 750 ml it truly is a steal. The nose is sweet with vanilla cake batter notes. It is a touch too hot to drink this in July in the Deep South. When water or ice is added the flavors open up and the heat goes away I don't smell the pepper and cinnamon but I love the flavor on the rocks. This stuff is absolutely amazing for what you will pay for it. It makes a great Old Fashioned and bourbon and coke is fine as well. While I will always try to keep a bottle of Henry McKenna BiB I will also do my best to keep this in my home bar as well. If you like full-flavored bourbon and want a great deal to get this one you will not be disappointed.

Nice review! I was standing in the bourbon section a few days ago trying to decide what 1.75L to buy to get me through the Coronavirus isolation and this was the one. Based on price ($26) and versatility it offered the most of any handle I looked at.
feel like people rate it lower because of the price. pretty sure your rating is very accurate.
I'm actually glad you mentioned Henry McKenna BIB. That was the first BIB I've ever tried and loved it. this is definitely pulling me towards this and I may have to stock up on the especially for the price just incase Jim Murray decides to make this a winner and it disappears or skyrockets in price.
welcome to distiller! Lots of traffic and every bottle you can think of
