Nose is certainly Smokey with hints of caramel that almost reminds me of a Coca-Cola, juniper is subtle but greatly reminds me of the Texas hill country.
Taste starts on the sweeter side, turns to cinnamon and juniper, kind of lingers on the oak.
Finish is fairly long, very long, still tasting that of a fall camp fire in the Texas hill country about 2 minutes later off the second sip.
This is the Texas Hill Country in a bottle. It’s kind of magnificent and incredibly nostalgic for me.
After the 3rd sip juniper is JUMPING out of the glass with the cinnamon.
This gin is pretty fantastic, practically a bourbon with gin qualities. If anyone wants to try something unique and delicious I recommend. 6/7 stars
