Nose is completely ripe bananas with a bit of a sour note. Chocolate and coffee flavors come through on the backend of the palate; very reminiscent of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked. The finish is fairly short, however has some decent spice that transitions back to that chocolate and banana aftertaste. This is certainly no 1920, but it’s not all that bad and an easy bourbon to sip and enjoy.
