A very unbalanced bourbon, the nose on this one is great but then it falls apart.
Bottled at 45.2%abv.
Nose is wonderful, cherry, plum, banana, herbal spiciness, lots of wood and sawdust, caramel.
On the palate it is a little plain. Herbal notes, oak wood, and oak spice. Too much oak if you ask me.
Finish is very short and oaky, maybe a little burn. Not pleasant. Boring.
Overall this dram gets a fair 70 over 100, i believe some "oak lovers" will rate it a little higher but nothing special.

Good review. I have had this several times and the bottles were so different that I could have believed they were from different companies. If you get a good bottle the wood notes are subdued and the sweetness if more present.
