This one holds a bit more weight because I've actually been to Oban twice. The seafood right from the bay and the whisky is a must. Such an enjoyable dram with slight notes of honeyed orange that hit the taste buds first adding the sweetness. Finishes nicely with hints of smoked peat and pepper. The uniqueness of this scotch comes with notes of the sea. Will always be a favorite whisky for me. I actually like the Clynelish 14 much more, but I don't have the same connection to the Clynelish like I do with the Oban.
