Very nice pungent roasted agave aroma. The taste contained an obvious herbal character combined with some spice/peppery notes. The agave does emerge towards the end to round things out. One of the better blancos I've tried. Perfect for margaritas and maybe neat if it tickles your fancy. IMO I'll reserve the sipping for the higher grade anejo versions. The price is quite high for the style though. You're paying for the name for sure. I'd recommend getting Espolon Blanco. More budget friendly and on par with this DJ.
